Digital Transformation Manager

The Opportunity:

As the Digital Transformation Manager, you'll be responsible for working with internal and external clients on technology strategy and functional activities to support digital solutions projects and be involved in activities throughout the systems development lifecycle. You'll drive and lead the development lifecycle, assess available technologies to select the right solution for the client, and help ensure successful development of technical system specifications and complete system design.

You'll lead, manage, and grow engaging experiences that increase the use of forward leaning client programs and accelerate an organization's ability to perform their mission and interact with their consumers. You'll develop short and long-term strategies, design engagements, lead and launch engagement programs, monitor and evolve existing programs, and help to evolve the citizen services client missions. You'll work within a motivated, multi-disciplinary team with backgrounds in Agile, data solutions, client collaboration, innovation, user experience, and enterprise IT strategy. You'll use excellent writing and communication skills to author client deliverables, strategy documents, presentations, and whitepapers. You'll leverage excellent listening and analytic expertise to break down complex concepts into clear, approachable steps. Work collaboratively, lead tasks, and think outside the box.

You'll execute technical program activities and develop and maintain internal and external relationships critical to supporting client activities. You'll exercise independent judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to obtain results and develop and apply analyses of situations or data using an in-depth evaluation of various factors. Recognize and explore other work, tools, techniques, and technologies to improve or influence results and identify industry best practices with potential for adoption. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have:

  • 8+ years of experience in consulting, project management or communications

  • 5+ years of experience performing complex functional project activities by providing management and supervision of multiple projects in software and systems engineering

  • Experience with software build and release management

  • Experience with managing multiple development teams contributing to a single product

  • Experience with Agile

  • Experience with managing software development in cloud architecture or migration of large enterprise applications from on-prem to cloud

  • Experience with data technology architectures

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with full stack requirements generation and development

  • Ability to operate effectively in a high pressure, high-tempo, and dynamic environment

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

  • Agile Certification, including PMI Certification

  • ACP, ICAgile Certified Professional, or Scrum Master Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
