Responsibilities

Description

Peraton is seeking a MuleSoft Architect to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Herndon, VA. The qualified applicant will become part of Peraton's Department of State (DOS) Consular Systems Modernization (CSM) Program, for the Bureau of Consular Affairs (CA). This initiative will modernize and consolidate the operational environment under a common technology framework in order to better support the services provided to CA's customers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

    Guide customers and colleagues in rationalizing and deploying emerging MuleSoft technologies that drive increased business value.
  • Work closely with Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, and directly with customers to architect MuleSoft technology solutions to meet requirements.
  • Identify and proactively manage risk areas with the platform and ensure that solutions are compliant with customer policies and regulations.
  • Oversee the technical quality of the integration solutions and ensure that they are operationalized effectively.
  • Define integration standards and patterns for MuleSoft technology solutions.
  • Understand and transform business requirements into scalable/manageable solution architecture and design specifications.
  • Design Mule applications for AnyPoint Platform following a hybrid deployment architecture.
  • Provide program-level leadership and guidance for AnyPoint Platform and MuleSoft technology solutions.
  • Contribute to a program vision while advising and articulating program/project strategies on enabling technologies including the MuleSoft Platform.
  • Develop and communicate MuleSoft Platform and technology roadmap across CSM Program.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 8-10 years' of experience or Master's Degree and 6-8 years' of experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on implementation experience designing sound and scalable technical solutions on the MuleSoft platform that meet end-to-end integration requirements.
  • 3+ years of experience in an architect role on large scale MuleSoft implementations.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment with multiple modern programming languages (e.g. Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, etc.)
  • Knowledge and experience with different MuleSoft offerings.
  • Experience with AnyPoint Platform, Flow Design, API Design. DataWave, Cloud Hub, Runtime Fabric, API Management, Salesforce Integration.
  • Demonstrate knowledge, skills, and capabilities to designing and implementing a project's technical architecture.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of and ability to architect solutions to address security complexities, mechanisms, and data integration capabilities on the Salesforce platform.
  • Experience presenting and effectively communicating technical solutions to technical and non-technical audiences, including limitations and design tradeoffs, from inception through successful implementation.
  • Must have a current, active Secret (or higher) clearance. Interim clearance acceptable.

Required Certifications:

  • Certified MuleSoft Developer Level 1.
  • MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect - Level 1.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on, full life cycle MuleSoft implementation experience.
  • Experience working within a Scaled Agile framework.
  • MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect - Level 1.
  • Experience with design patterns used with MuleSoft integrations and Salesforce.
  • Experience designing, developing, securing, and managing APIs.

Target Salary Range
$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
