Our team in Space & Defense is looking for a Program Coordinator to join them. You will report to the Program Management Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in Blacksburg, Virginia.

To be considered for Program Coordinator, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • A bachelor's or associate degree typically in a business or technical related discipline
  • Experience working on multiple tasks while staying organized.
  • Experience maintaining professional composure in any given customer situation.

As a Program Coordinator, you will:

  • Manage 2+ programs weekly and support other program managers in larger functional and important programs to the company
  • Administer lower-level documentation review of statement of works, product specifications and supporting proposal documentation through compliance matrix creation and contract review.
  • Increase proficiency in all ERP and MS Project scheduling software and be able to assess material flow through manufacturing and help determine resource constraints whether it be material, personnel, or customer related. Create a plan to address and oversee the impacts associated with the programs they are responsible for.
  • Report weekly/monthly to management the progress of the constraints each job is facing. Determine risk levels through risk registers and hold regular standups for the Lean Product development programs that support the business.
  • Must be a continuous improvement champion and undergo LPD training and conduct at two project planning events along with risk reduction meetings.
  • Conduct primary customer interfacing weekly with a written update given monthly to each customer representing status and accounting of deliverables whether it be SDRL or program related. The program coordinator will provide weekly/monthly status of programs to all of program management and site leadership.
