Sign on Bonus of $7,000 available for Qualified Candidates!CSS Tech II- Responsible for receiving, decontamination, sterilizing, storing, and distributing all instruments handled by Sterile Processing. Assembles and disassembles case carts.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- CSPDT (Certified Sterile Processing/Distribution Tech) or IAHCSMM (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) required.
- 2 year of CSS Tech Experience Required.
About the department:
Performing an average of 7,000 cases each year, the Operating Room at SMJH has 8 OR suites and offers a variety of service lines including Complex GYN, Neurosurgery, Vascular/Thoracic and Orthopedic surgery. It is also the 2nd highest-performing OR in the Sentara system for Orthopedic total joint procedures.
