SPA's Corporate Development Team has an immediate need for a Manager, Corporate Development.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be an integral member of our corporate development function and support the execution of our acquisition strategy, deal analysis, financial modeling, transaction coordination, and integration planning. Your responsibilities will span all aspects of the corporate development process as well as collaboration with almost every area of the business with the goal of supporting the achievement of our overall Company strategy. Your specific duties will include:

    Serving as part of the SPAs corporate development function
  • Aiding in maintaining the pipeline of acquisition targets to include sole-sourced prospects and companies represented by investment banks
  • Supporting analysis, due diligence, transaction structuring, deal negotiation and funding the transaction, including engagement with Arlington Capital Partners
  • Aiding in coordinating with the Integration Management Office to prepare for the successful integration of the acquired company post-closing
  • Assisting with valuation and deal modeling for mergers, acquisitions, and other investments
  • Collaborating with Finance on the long-term, pro forma financial forecast and other ad hoc analyses
  • Performing an integral and visible role within the corporate development function, working closely with a small group of peers and senior leaders routinely, and having regular interactions with the firm's top leadership
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 3 years or more of experience as part of a corporate development team or in investment banking
  • Experience structuring complex problems and delivering insights and recommendations
  • Ability to perform financial modeling with Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of information, identify issues, and recommend solutions proactively
  • Ability to prioritize work streams appropriately and move among differing tasks quickly
  • Possession of excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher is required
