Position Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Quality Control Scientist for the job responsibilities and tasks as follow:

- QC process validation and implementation for the new product launch and technology transfer. The duties include validation study and testing for QC specifications, criteria, and workflow, SOP and work instruction writing and finalization, staff training.

- QC process revision and optimization for continuous quality improvement. The duties include root cause testing and analysis, SOP review and revision, staff training.

- QC testing and data analysis for product fulfillment with right quality on time.

Position Requirements

- Ph.D. of Science degree in Molecular Biology, Forensic Biology or Biochemistry.

- In depth knowledge and experimental skills in nucleic acid biochemistry, gene expression profiling and target amplification. Experience in Next Generation Sequencing is highly desirable.

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skill.

- Strong communication skill, orally and in writing.

- Strong collaboration and teamwork skill.

- Capable of self-learning and continuous learning for the QIAGEN processes, products and technical platforms.

- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

- Capable of multitasking to meet timeline.

- Physically capable to perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is required sometimes lift 25LB. Specific vision abilities required by this job include ability to adjust focus.
