The Inbound Scheduling team within the Inbound Logistics group acts as liaison between ForwardDistribution Center (FDC) Receiving/Operations teams, Supply ChainManagement (SCM) teams, and Product Strategy and Supplier Partnerships (PSsP) team to facilitate inbound deliveries into the FDC network, improve supplier leadtimes and fill rates, and collaborate with DC receiving teams to improve and optimize inbound receiving.

The Manager of Inbound Scheduling teamis responsible for leading a team of analysts dedicated to overseeing inbound scheduling and receiving processes and policies at the MMS distribution centers. This includes conducting strategic planning to prioritize initiatives for team goals while creating developmental opportunities for each individual team member. This role is responsible for evaluating new technology and solutions, as well as overseeing implementations and ongoing system bugs and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Subject matter expert on Capstone Managed Receiving (MR) inbound dock scheduling tool
  • Lead team of analysts, providing daily support, coaching, and developmental opportunities
  • Maintain open and effective communication channels with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders
  • Define, regularly analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement
  • Report on FDC operational/receiving updates/challenges to SCM and Ops leadership
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase overall operational effectiveness
  • Continue to evaluate technology landscape and prioritize initiatives including enhancements and implementations

Critical or Specialized Skills:

  • 5+years of Transportation/Logistics/Supply Chain industry experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Experience with creating written reports; must be able to effectively communicate to all levels of staff up to senior leadership, including carriers and suppliers
  • Intermediate-to-Advanced level process improvement experience
  • Intermediate-to-Advanced level experience with Managed Receiving and/or an inbound dock scheduling tool
  • Intermediate-to-Advanced level Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) experience
  • Intermediate-to-Advanced level SQL experience
  • Intermediate-to-Advanced level EDI (856) ASN experience
  • Intermediate-to-Advanced level ERP (preferably JDE) experience

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$65,600 - $109,300
