Overview:

SCCI is looking for a Configuration Management (CM) Analyst to support the Aegis Ashore (AA) Board Program. In this position, you will be providing Configuration/Change Control Boards (CCB) support including importing and exporting files. You will also be assisting in the development and maintenance of CM processes, policies, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) based on program requirements. This position is location in Dahlgren, VA.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform Configuration Management/Data Management functions: Planning, Configuration Identification, Configuration Control, Status Accounting, Audits, and Data Management
  • Perform meeting secretariat functions: Generate agendas, accurately capture/distribute highlights, minutes, and action items
  • Maintain data records and libraries with updated status accounting information
  • Track documents/changes through a review process and capture comments
  • Represent the CM team at program meetings ensuring that CM concerns are communicated or impacts to CM are brought back for issue resolution
  • Develop and maintain CM processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Provide weekly and monthly status reports utilizing MSWord Excel, PowerPoint and other tools
  • Maintain file repositories and workflows in online repositories (ViewNet, SharePoint)

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Working knowledge of CM principles, methods, and techniques
  • Four (4) - Seven (7) years of previous CM experience
  • Highly proficient with MS Office tools, primarily MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to effectively communicate across all organizational levels to include co-workers, managers, and government customers
  • Ability to multi-task, work well independently and in a team environment
  • Self-starter with strong technical skills and attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy
  • Ability to write clear, logically sequenced, and grammatically correct documents

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Prior change board secretariat experience
