Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Life Safety Security Design Engineer to join our integration business unit.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform cost estimating of CCTV, Access Control & Intrusion Detection Systems
  • Manage the design process, create material list and project scope documents
  • Survey existing security systems and provide detailed upgrade or replacement information
  • Create submittal packages of designed systems
  • Create drawings, including floor plans, details, and elevations using AutoCAD
  • Coordinate engineering deliverable schedules with project stakeholders
  • Create as-built drawings and documentation
  • Prepare design documents, specifications and drawings required for design/build projects

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in security system design (CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection)
  • Experience with AutoCAD
  • Fundamental understanding of Excel and Word

Preferred Qualifications:

  • DCJS Electronic Security Technician
