GuidePoint Security offers an inclusive set of strategic Operational Technology services, including OT Penetration Tests, OT Architecture Reviews, Validated Architecture and Design Reviews, OT Framework Assessments, OT Risk Assessments, OT Program Development, OT Advisory Services and a variety of custom assessments. As a Senior OT Security Consultant within Strategic Services, your primary responsibilities will be delivering these offerings to a broad range of clients in a variety of industries.

The Senior OT Security Consultant joins GuidePoint's elite team of Operational Technology experts to deliver the aforementioned services. This involves performing engagements, communicating with clients, delivering comprehensive reports, and providing remediation guidance. You will spend your time focusing on challenging projects, performing pre-sales, and solving complex problems with clients that will rely on your experience, adaptability, and creativity to significantly improve their security posture and processes.

Senior OT Security Consultants also contribute to the Practice's offerings by perpetually evolving them in response to emerging threats and diverse client needs. Your creativity and expertise will assist the Practice by adapting these offerings to a rapidly changing cyber landscape.

Role Requirement
  • Willingness to travel up to 35%

  • Engage in pre-sales activities and the creation, facilitation, and closure of professional services opportunities, including representing both the company and the Practice, performing scoping and technical requirements gathering, and cooperatively interacting with other Practices to develop large, complex, multi-practice engagements

  • Create marketing materials to build the brand and grow the business

  • Delivering Operational Technology services, including but not limited to OT Architecture Reviews, OT Framework Assessments, Validated Architecture and Design Reviews, and OT Advisory Services

  • Author comprehensive assessment deliverables that are proficiently tailored to both technical and managerial audiences and fully detail the technical execution, core deficiencies, business impact, and realistic remediation strategies

  • Awareness and understanding of the rapidly changing application security landscape, including open-source and commercial tools, assessment methodologies and approaches, and strategy frameworks, such as NIST CSF and IEC/ISA 62443

  • Deep understanding of a broad range of OT security issues, mitigation strategies, and common security controls

  • Assist with Practice development, including improving existing offerings, creating new offerings, and mentoring team members

  • Contribute to marketing initiatives via activities such as publishing research, speaking at industry conferences, authoring blog articles and white-papers, hosting webinars, and developing security tools

  • Perpetually strengthen relevant skills, knowledge, and abilities to stay at the forefront of the information security industry

  • Foster client relationships by providing support, information, and guidance

  • Maintain a strong desire to learn, adapt, and improve along with a rapidly-growing company

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education, Credentials, and Experience
  • Direct hands-on experience in performing application security service offerings, including but not limited to OT Architecture Reviews, OT Framework Assessments, Validated Architecture and Design Reviews, and OT Advisory Services
  • Experience and working knowledge of OT security controls, network architectures, and industry standards and frameworks

  • Operational Technology experience in one or more of the Critical Infrastructure Sectors

  • Strong communication skills that include the ability to clearly articulate thoughts and distill complex problems into digestible pieces of information during live conversations, formal deliverables, white papers, and case studies

  • InfoSec community involvement, such as conference speaking, blog/whitepaper authoring, and podcast speaking/producing experience, is strongly preferred

  • Standard industry certifications, such as, IEC/ISA 62443, GICSP, are preferred

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in OT Security or related roles

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a consulting services role or related internal OT security positions

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
