Visa is at the forefront of disrupting fraud from multiple vectors. Our team is seeking a Director of Product Manager that is passionate about building products that customers will love. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build, and roll-out products that deliver the company's vision and strategy.

The successful execution of this role will be achieved through balancing relationships, developing, and executing processes and delivering results. Ideal candidates will have the technical competencies, interpersonal savvy, and grit.

Responsibilities

  • Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
  • Develop product strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
  • Conduct market analysis by understanding client needs, evaluating market dynamics, competition, etc.
  • Partner with regional sales and product teams to co-create relevant product go-to-market & sales strategies.
  • Provide information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and ad hoc analyses/reports/presentations as needed.
  • Bring new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development programs.
  • Assess new product ideas and/or product enhancements.
  • Be data driven, providing facts and analysis to support point of view.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basi Qualifications
.10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications
.12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
.Experience leading product initiatives end to end - from product strategy to commercialization strategies.
.Proven record of accomplishment of success in fast-paced, agile environments with demanding timelines. Extensive experience work closely with cross functional teams. Experience working in matrix corporate environments, preferred.
.Effective communication skills to all levels - written and verbal including to executive management.
.Proven leadership skills and ability to function autonomously.
.Strong ability to consume complex data and information, develop insights and create impactful stories.
.Data driven problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done.
.Passion for innovating and delivering truly differentiated products and user experiences.
.Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to interface across levels, regions, cultures, and languages, and engage successfully with both specialist teams and broader business partners

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 147,400.00 to 191,700.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
