In this role, you will be a pivotal member ensuring Nondestructive Testing (NDT) inspections align seamlessly with customer directives and industry standards. As a qualified professional, you'll play a crucial role in setting up and calibrating equipment, interpreting results, and guiding NDT trainees. Your proficiency in organizing and reporting inspection results, coupled with adherence to quality processes, is key. Expectations of this function are:
Performing proper set up and calibration of NDT equipment. Interpretation and evaluation of NDT results with respect to applicable codes, standards and specifications. This individual will be familiar with the scope and limitations of the NDT methods for which qualified/certified. This individual will be able to organize and report results of NDT inspections. Methods include as a minimum: Visual Inspection (VT), Dye Penetrant Inspection (PT) and Magnetic Inspection (MT) methods may also be used.

This position is considered PRODUCTION/OUTDOOR WORK which is characterized as follows.
The shipyard/base/manufacturing work environment; the site may contain mobility barriers with uneven ground level and obstructed pathways. Climatic and environmental conditions at the job site will be indoor/outdoor climate with various temperatures and noise levels caused by tools, machinery, equipment, and etc.
