Summary of Position

The SharePoint Developer will help us improve our current Quality department SharePoint site. We're looking for someone who is experienced in SharePoint development and can help us create a more efficient and user-friendly site.

Responsibilities and Job Duties

  • Translate user requirements and functionality into technical design specifications and workflows.
  • Develop and maintain SharePoint-based solutions to specified user requirements.
  • Create view layouts and design elements, and will build pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • May also create web applications that are used by end users to add new or modify existing SharePoint pages.
  • May use jQuery, HTML5, and CSS to design pages that allow users to add content.
  • May also create reports that are hosted on SharePoint pages and allow users to create, modify, and view data.
  • Ensure the compatibility of solutions with the SharePoint platform and other back-end systems.
  • Research and develop applications using Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Provide end user assistance/training for SharePoint installations, enhancements, and upgrades.
  • Develop and maintain SharePoint based applications, UIs, and modules.
  • Conduct technical research, identify problem areas, and create solutions.
  • Develop test plans, create test data, and execute test cases.
  • Implement new features and functionality.
  • Provide technical support/training for end users on SharePoint applications.

Minimum Qualifications

Education, Certifications & Experience

  • Rising college sophomore pursuing a bachelor degree
  • Proven experience in developing SharePoint solutions.
  • Anatomy and analysis of business requirements.
  • Design and development of SharePoint solutions.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint APIs and and architecture.
  • Proven experience with design.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Previous experience as a SharePoint developer.
  • Detail orientated.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, multitask, and manage time appropriately.
  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to be flexible, resourceful, organized and work in a fast-paced business environment with special requests.
