ITS supports the Intelligence Community, Rapid Prototyping Facilities, Premier Commercial Customers, and related end users around the world.

We are excited to be recruiting for the next important piece of our history and new talent, an Entry Level AV Technician! This position supports our Federal Government AV/Video Teleconferencing (VTC) production and installation department.

The responsibilities of this role may include:

  • Assisting with the permanent installation and Mounting of equipment, such as. projectors, projection screens, monitors, speakers, and microphones, to ceilings and walls in secure spaces
  • Configuring AV equipment including Extron, Crestron, AMX, CISCO, ClearOne, and Biamp
  • Fabricating, terminating, and installing AV and IT cabling; RJ-45, DB-9, 3.5mm, and XLR
  • Configuring video conferencing solutions Polycom and CISCO
  • Testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of various AV systems
  • Assisting in troubleshooting and diagnosing existing AV systems
  • Working with cabling and equipment under tables, in equipment racks, on scaffolding, and ladders
  • Performing other related duties as assigned

To qualify for this position, you must possess a HS diploma or equivalent. This is an entry level position, therefore audio-visual specific experience is not required but employees will be taught the necessary skills. You must be willing to travel around the United States.

Additional qualifications include:

  • Operating knowledge of all MS Office products
  • Ability to follow basic flow diagrams
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
  • Ability to travel to various CONUS and OCONUS locations as required
