The State Department Federal Credit Union is currently seeking a Chief Digital & Retail Officer to oversee the efficient operations of all retail branch operations. This role entails crucial responsibilities, including operational and sales training, performance monitoring, staff development, compliance/audit, and coaching to cultivate an internally collaborative and member-focused culture. As an integral member of the Executive Team, the CDRO collaborates with other team members to chart the Credit Union's future course, ensuring sustainability and relevance to its membership.


Responsible for directing and overseeing the credit union's performance in managing the retail delivery functions of SDFCU, the CDRO actively pursues continuous improvement across all retail delivery areas. This role plays a pivotal part in achieving SDFCU's objective of providing excellent member service worldwide. In addition to these responsibilities, the Chief Digital & Retail Officer leads and manages a comprehensive array of business units, including Branch Operations, Business Process Reengineering, Project Management Office, Business Support Services, Member Service Center, Digital, Payments, and Operational Support Services. Given the extensive scope of the department, the CDRO assumes a key leadership and management role at SDFCU.


Required Skills and Competencies:

* Minimum of 10 years of similar experience at a credit union, bank, or other financial institution.

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field (Master's degree preferred).

* Proven experience in a senior retail leadership role within the financial services industry.

* Strong understanding of retail banking operations, trends, and technologies.

* Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.

* Demonstrated ability to drive business growth and achieve key performance metrics.
