As a Youth and Parent Mentor, our goals are specific to each individual.

While providing youth services we help the youth and adolescents:

• Engage in community activities
• Develop greater capacity for emotional expression
• Engage in positive social interactions
• Establish healthy peer networks
• Improve interpersonal communication skills

While providing parenting services we strive to:

• Help the parent to overcome obstacles and be able to cope with future parenting difficulties in a more constructive manner.
• Increase family structure (boundaries) and parental consistency.
• Improve interpersonal relationship between parent and child/children.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum one (1) year of experience working with youth one-on-one in a skills building or social development program role
