A day in the life of a Geospatial Analyst Intern:
As a Geospatial Analyst Intern, you will perform cartographic production tasks as a member of the GIS production team performing imagery analysis and extraction of feature data from satellite imagery. You will work independently and as part of a team to complete a variety of tasks including product setup, imagery analysis, feature data collection, Quality Control, data validation, and product finishing. You will complete geospatial map production tasks using GIS software to include GeoMedia, ESRI ArcPro, and FME.

What we are expecting from you (i.e. the qualifications you must have): - Currently enrolled in Bachelor's degree program in Geography, Geomatics, Environmental Science, Engineering or related field.
- Strong interest in geospatial analysis and a desire to learn and grow in the field.
- Basic knowledge of GIS Software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar platforms.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when required.
- Prior coursework or experience in geography, spatial analysis, or related areas is a plus, but not required.
