State Department Federal Credit Union is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant who will provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. They will support the executive office and new leaders through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. The administrative job scope includes communicating via phone, email, and in-person, ensuring that all administrative duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and that deadlines are met.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

1. High school, some college or vocational school preferred.

2. Prefer experience in a financial institution and or in an administrative role.

3. Experience in reviewing and writing reports and other correspondence.

4. Excellent Microsoft Office skills

5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

6. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

7. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

8. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

9. Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.

10. Ability to work independently.
