Job Description

The position reports to the Quality Control Manager as the Pest Management Coordinator for Campus Planning, Infrastructure, and Facilities. This position serves as the main point of contact for pest management related issues while providing oversight of the contractual Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program and specialized services. Additionally, this position will coordinate with the appropriate servicing vendor for the handling of animal control issues that fit within the scope of responsibility. Position will conduct regularly scheduled building inspections and determine appropriate treatment and future steps to include application of general and restricted use pesticides. Will control work order flow, maintain documentation on methods and procedures, develop plans and follow up with customer concerns and treatment areas. Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment.

The ideal candidate must be detail, action, solution, and results oriented, as well as dedicated to continuous improvement. The successful candidate must have the ability to handle multiple activities including confidential and sensitive matters with the utmost discretion. The individual is expected to fulfill identified responsibilities with limited supervision while maintaining effective communication with the Quality Control Manager, Director of Housekeeping, and other Facilities Department leaders.

Required Qualifications

* Must possess Registered Technician Licensure.
* Demonstrated knowledge of chemical formulations and applications.
* Demonstrated experience performing site reviews and assessments and overseeing implementation of corrective action plans.
* Knowledge of basic office computer software and hardware.
* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects.
* Strong customer service and communication skills.
* Must be capable of working independently without supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

* Associates degree in Business or related field, or a combination of relevant training and/or experience.
* Pest management experience in a large commercial or educational setting.
* Demonstrated experience with quality assessments and continuous improvement.
* Ability to partner with team to create strategic processes and procedures.
* Commercial Applicator License.
