Join our team as a Research Analyst in Norfolk, VA or Richmond, VA.

Who you are:

You are a curious person with a keen eye for detail. Because of your interest in commercial real estate trends, you keep up to date on the local market and are keenly interested in bringing data together to tell the story. The Research Analyst pursues everything with energy, drive and a need to complete the task, especially in the face of resistance or setbacks. You are adept with research software and embrace the latest technologies. You thrive on managing multiple projects and are comfortable with shifting priorities throughout the day. You possess strong communications skills and are able to build strong professional relationships with others.

What you bring:

  • At least 1- 3 years' experience in a research, market analysis or related role in commercial real estate

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Business, Economics, Statistics)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Strong analytical skills and experience using a research database (Costar, LoopNet)

  • Intermediate to advance knowledge of SQL, Python, and Tableau.

Bonus skills and experience:

  • Experience with ArcGIS or other GIS software.

  • Experience in Commercial Real Estate a plus

  • You offer new ideas using collaborative methods with all team members and managers, and well as work autonomously.

  • You produce quarterly market reports that create a buzz.

  • You use rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions.

  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment, where you can use your amazing multi-tasking skills to meet tight deadlines with uncompromised ethics/integrity.
