Overview

Seeking a motivated individual with land survey experience. This individual would be responsible for compiling and computing boundaries from deeds and plats of record, preparing survey base maps from field points and computing survey stakeouts for underground distribution power line routes, easements and device locations.

This is a fulltime position and the expectation is the position would be fully in-office. In rare instances, field meetings or verification may be required.


Responsibilities

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty meeting external and internal client expectations
  • Ability to read/interpret plats and deeds to create base maps for utility design and perform survey computations to prepare stakeout drawings
  • Collaborating with design and right-of-way teams to troubleshoot issues
  • Maintain safe working environment
  • Maintain overall quality of work

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma
  • 3+ years of land surveying experience
  • Experience with land record research
  • Carlson/AutoCAD experience a plus
  • Must have good communication skills
  • Must have a valid driver's license and ability to pass a driving record check
  • Must pass a drug test
