Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a part time (civilian) Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) at our Dumfries Health Center in support of Ft. Belvoir in Dumfries, VA.

Job Details:

Part time - 20 hours/week (Monday-Friday 7:30AM-4PM); Flexible scheduling
• Located in outpatient OB/GYN clinic

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelors Degree
• Experience: 2 years of experience as a lactation consultant (preferably in OB/GYN and Women's Health setting)
• License / Certifications:
  • • Possess a certification as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).
• Active BLS certification
• Must have knowledge of computer operations and proficiency in the use of basic word processing, data entry and automated medical records.
• Ability to develop lactation classes and support groups.

Position Responsibilities:

• Conduct group lactation/feeding classes
• Provide resources and support to moms with lactation/feeding concerns
• Be a resource to the OB/GYN healthcare providers
