McBoss stands for Marine Corp Business Operations Support Services that is a multi-platform, cloud-enabled environment which allows customers in the Navy and Marines to access and build applications for Marine Corp and Navy use. These services are being leveraged on multiple teams that support security, operations, container applications, and built within a DevSecOps lifecycle. It is a PaaS (Platform as a Service) model that develops and modernizes new systems and applications with the policies within the DoD Directive for Information Technology implementation and portfolio management.

Translates the software architecture and requirements in to low-level designs and implementation strategies. Selects programming languages, frameworks, and tools appropriate to implement the software architecture and meet requirements. Leads one or more teams responsible for implementing software systems.
