You Are:

A creative Copywriter who is passionate about their craft and eager to make an impact on the work we do. This individual should be experienced within the marketing, digital, advertising, branding, sales, and content space; has worked with a variety of tones and voice styles and can ensure exceptional results on copy deliverables. This position needs someone who is confident as an individual contributor, ready to jump in and take a leadership role when required and embraces collaboration. This person is great working with clients and collaborating with our cross functional teams. We want someone who cares about the details and generates ideas that push boundaries but also is willing to compromise when necessary.

The Work:

  • Write creative copy for a variety of platforms in support of our advertising, marketing, and client work, including:
    • Message house and value proposition development
    • Creative brief and creative concept development in collaboration with the creative director
    • Paid advertising copy experience (Google display, paid social, radio, TV, print, and other digital platforms)
    • Google search ad copy experience
    • Sales and proposal support a plus
  • Support projects from concept to delivery
  • Work on a variety of projects with a team and/or individually
  • Present and sell copy and concepts for both internal and client-facing meetings
  • Deliver assignments on time while consistently meeting quality standards
  • Proven experience in copy style guidelines

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Communications or equivalent
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar position
  • An overall understanding of digital production and the capabilities within digital world is essential

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of copywriting experience
  • 3+ years of work experience in a digital or traditional advertising agency
  • Bachelor's degree in creative writing, journalism, marketing, English preferred
  • Extensive brand copywriting experience
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Excellent online portfolio of copywriting work
  • Expert in writing email copy, advertising (digital, print, banners), brand messaging, web copy, video scripts, webinars, marketing collateral, white papers, and sales presentations
  • Experience in working with sales organizations and global brand standards
  • Experience working with and speaking to the Federal Government is highly preferred

Professional Qualifications:

  • Ambitious and resilient team player curious, flexible, autonomous and with a sense of urgency
