The role:

The Cyber Security Application Engineer will serve as a technical escalation point for day-to-day activities for IT Cyber team. Collaborate with operations teams and management to investigate security issues and determine true and false positives. Respond to information security issues when infrastructure action is needed.

Here's What You Need:

  • At least one certification in Security (such as CISSP, CEH, Microsoft (Azure Security Engineer)
  • Minimum (3 - 5) years of experience in cyber threat intelligence and cyber tactics, techniques, and procedures.
  • Minimum (1 -2) years of experience in securing web related technologies (Web applications, Web services, and other network/web related encrypting protocols such as HTTPS, TLS, SSL)
  • Minimum (1-2) years of web application development experience (Knowledge of web technologies, such as CSS, HTML, JavaScript JavaScript, JSON, REST, AJAX, XML, HTTP)
  • Minimum (1-2) years of system administrator experience in Windows environment (Active Directory, DNS, PowerShell scripting, Group Policy Management)
  • Minimum (1-2) years of experience in securing identity technologies (Azure Active Directory, Conditional Access, Azure AD Application Proxy)
  • Experience working with security frameworks and cybersecurity executive orders such as (OWASP, NIST -800-171)
  • Experience presenting complex technical information to decision makers and leading them through the decision-making process

Bonus Points If:

  • More than one security certification from CISM, CCSP, GIAC Certified Windows Security Administrator (GCWN
  • Strong Knowledge of DOD cybersecurity policies and guidance
  • Experience as a working member of an Agile Team

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience.?As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below and????

Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role?

California: $95,600-$174,200

Colorado: $95,600-$150,500

Connecticut: $95,600-$150,500

Nevada: $95,600150,500

New York City: $110,700-$174,200

Rhode Island: $101,900-$160,400

Washington: $101,900-$160,400
