Job Description

Provides management and supervision of a university centralized bakery under the direction of the Executive Chef. Maintains high standards in food preparation, quality, taste, creativity, variety and presentation. Ensures a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for employees. Ensures a high level of customer satisfaction; ensures appropriate and continuous training for employees.

Required Qualifications

Associates degree in Culinary Arts and/or equivalent training and experience. Previous experience supervising a large scale bakery, commercial kitchen, as a Pastry Chef and/or understudy in a restaurant, hotel/resort, or club.

Preferred Qualifications

Retail Bakers Association or American Culinary Federation Certification preferred. ServSafe certification and HACCP certification desired.
