Position Overview As a Production Operator you will work with raw materials - such as fiber optic cables, copper, and steel - and use specific machinery to transform the raw materials to finished products per customer specifications. All team members will be responsible for safety, quality inspections, organization, and maintaining a clean work area.

High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Must be 18 years of age or older

The performance of this position normally requires exposure to a typical manufacturing environment that requires the use of personal protective equipment including steel toed shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection. Manufacturing areas may be affected by outside temperatures and machining. Must be able to: stand and walk for extended periods of time (8 hours or more), sit, kneel, crouch, stoop, climb ramps and/or stairs; read and write, work with a computer and keyboard; hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds (e.g., machinery, sirens, and alarms); speak to express or exchange ideas, impart oral information to include instructions; vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral and depth perception. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
