Job Description

REQUIRED:

Four years experience administrating, configuring, and troubleshooting learning management system.

Demonstrated experience with graphic design, eLearning software, learning technologies and multi-media tools: Articulate, Captivate, Flash, Photoshop, WebEx, SCORM and/or other eLearning development tools required.

Learning Management System Analyst

Job Responsibilities:

Provides day-to-day support of the UCLA Health Learning Management System (LMS) by adding new courses, updating existing courses, enrolling learners, and other activities.

Troubleshoots and resolves issues related to the UCLA Health LMS and UCOP LMS; responds to employee inquiries in a timely manner, meeting or exceeding established service level agreements (SLA s).

Supports various phases of the course development lifecycle, including needs analysis, requirements gathering, solution design, course development, course deployment and evaluation. Uses various tools, such as Captivate, to develop and convert eLearning content.

Collaborates with ISS team members to resolve issues, optimize system usage, and identify and implement new and enhanced functionality.

Supports the UCLA Health Performance system through the development of Competencies and Observation Checklists. Provides guidance and training to observation checklist administrators.

Establishes and maintains effective working relationships across various cross-functional groups and departments.

Supports the tracking and reporting of standard metrics in Cornerstone

Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience with graphic design, eLearning software, learning technologies and multi-media tools: Articulate, Captivate, Flash, Photoshop, WebEx, SCORM and/or other eLearning development tools required.

Four yeas experience administrating, configuring, and troubleshooting learning management system

Experience that demonstrates knowledge, understanding, and application of administrative support skills, methods, and procedures

Effective interpersonal skills and ability to deal diplomatically with professional/business contacts, and work effectively with all levels

Effective written and oral communication skills

Effective planning, time management, problem solving, and organizational skills

Ability to explain instructions, policies, and procedures and to present findings and conclusions clearly and concisely

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Visio, Project, Access
