POSITION SUMMARY: The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures within the radiology department utilizing specific equipment for that purpose. The individual will rotate through diagnostic radiology as assigned and will perform all responsibilities outlined in the staff technologist job description. He/she will be involved in the practice of radiation and general safety at all times. The Ultrasound Technologist will be required to take rotating call after hours, on weekends, and on holidays.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

-Registered by the ARRT or eligible to take next available exam.

-Be in good standing with ECE.

-Must have a current West Virginia Radiological Technologist License.

-Must be ARDMS registered.
