Responsibilities:

The Contractor shall provide guidance and assistance to audit related issues with PP&E, and perform tasks in accordance with federal laws and standards, as follows:

• Provide information and create packages for newly scanned items that are identified during annual inventories.
• Populate information such as values and placed-in-service dates for upload into Genesis (items still being researched include storage, shipping and unknown serial numbers).
• Capture cost data for multiple items that are part of the annual inventories conducted by components.
• Reconcile assets in Genesis against scans received from components to identify potential Property Turn In (PTI) or missing items.
• Develop memos for items confirmed to be removed from accountability on behalf of ODNI components.
• Work with components to document the as-is shipping and PTI processes and recommend areas for improvements.
• Reconcile Genesis reports against depreciation schedules and update cost information in Genesis.
• Create cross-walk for temporary assets as these assets are uploaded into Genesis.
• Assist components with analysis of internal controls and perform testing around PP&E processes.
• Provide support and suggestions to improve the PP&E processes and control methods.
• Validate that all assets that require Genesis AP records exist in the system of record and create/maintain a list of equipment that is missing data.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years, 2 in the IC, of relevant experience related to fixed assets/PP&E tracking, valuation, and policy.

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office
• Demonstrated problem solving skills
• Familiarity with IT equipment and experience with IT invoices and PO's
