Description

The Vice President of Business Development's primary focus will be to strategically position Cydecor to grow revenue in collateral and adjacent market spaces. This task will require the VP to understand and leverage the capabilities, past performance, and qualification of Cydecor across each of its business unit portfolios of work.

Together with the BD Team, the VP will build and manage strategic pursuit campaign plans to capture new business, ensuring alignment of capabilities to the strategic vision of the CEO and Executive leadership, with specific focus on Navy, USAF/USSF and Audit related support opportunities to include targeted campaign plan development and execution lead. Inclusive in these efforts is the recompetition of the existing Cydecor business portfolio, where the VP will lend expertise and understanding to ensure maximum retention of customers and revenue.

Job responsibilites include but are not limited to:

  • Expansion of unweighted pipeline by adding quality new potential opportunities to the Forecast
  • Timely ushering of forecasted opportunities through the pipeline to identified phase
  • Execute call plans, Teaming Negotiations and capabilities screenings through capture/proposal processes to include full Shipley process with documented AARs
  • Responsible for timely adoption of identified opportunities by unit leads to qualified phase
  • Facilitate pipeline mechanic metrics and requirements by moving opportunities through gates on prescribed timelines
  • Dedicate cycles to support recompete opportunities to ensure retention of business and customers in the Cydecor portfolio
  • Support M&A Due Dilegence analysis and risk reporting and assist in strategic planning requirements
  • Support BD Strategic Planning and Risk Management processes

Education/Skills/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Managment, Business, Communications, or a relevant Business or Liberal Arts discipline
  • 10 years experience in business development and customer engagement efforts
  • Experience as capture manager, executing capture and call plans across multiple deals simultaneously
  • Experience in key customer spaces is highly desired, specifically DON Business Systems and DOD/DON Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR)
  • Experience in the pursuit of new work outside existing areas of capabilities
  • Experience selling directly to the Government is encouraged
  • Experience in program management is desired
  • Experience in Mergers and Acquisitions

Clearance:

Ability to obtain DoD Security Clearance
