Rock Creek Manor is a long term care facility with 180 beds in NW DC, two blocks from the Dupont Circle Red Line Metro Station. Rock Creek Manor prides itself on a family style atmosphere for both our employees and residents. We are a stand-alone facility and not part of a multi-site corporate structure.

TAX DEFERRED SAVINGS PLAN
Our 401K plan has 18 investment options and Rock Creek matches your contribution up to $0.50 for each dollar up to 6% of your annual salary. This is like a 3% raise and it is from pre tax dollars.

SECURITY SYSTEMS:
We have a security guard on duty and security camera 24 hours a day. There is an electronic lock at our front gate.

EMPLOYEE ACTIVITIES:
Nearly each month there is a special event for one of our departments or for the facility. The biggest is our International Day in the summer.

EMPLOYEE’S AWARDS EVENT:
Each month an employee is named employee of the month and one is names employee of the year; there is a cash award in addition to the recognition.

ATTENDANCE BONUSES
Rock Creek offers those with perfect attendance a bonus three times a year. You can get $300 for each award.

PAID TIME OFF
Accrued leave can be used after 90 days of employment. You earn it from your first day. Hourly employees accrue 17 PTO days each year during the first through fifth year; 22 PTO days after the completion of fifth year, 27 PTO days after the completion of the tenth year.

PAID HOLIDAYS
All departments observe the following eight holidays: New Year's Day; Martin Luther King, Jr., Memorial Day; Independence Day [July Fourth]; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; and, Christmas Day. The employee’s birthday is treated as a personal holiday.
