Company OverviewThe Café Milano Family of RestaurantsCafé Milano opened in its Georgetown location in 1992. Café Milano has seating for 300 indoors with 50 additional seats available outdoors. It averages 400 covers per day with peak days approaching 600 covers. It employs a staff of 100 – 38 kitchen, 55 front/service, 7 management. In early 2004, a sister restaurant, Sette Osteria, was opened in the Dupont Circle area of Washington. This smaller, more casual setting offers the same level of cuisine in a neighborhood concept with views of the bustling streets of the area. Sette Osteria offers indoor seating for 80 and an outdoor patio that accommodates 60, weather permitting. Average daily cover count is 300 with peaks at 400. Sette Osteria employs a staff of 45 – 18 kitchen, 22 front/service, 5 management. In October of 2005, the company opened its newest restaurant, Sette Bello, just across the Potomac River in Arlington. This concept targets the young professional market which is growing rapidly in this section of town. Sette Bello features a modern décor with warm and bright Italian accents. The cuisine is a blend of classic Café Milano offerings with the addition of Bar Tono, a kind of “style bar” featuring raw seafood and fresh meats as well as a substantial selection of wine by the glass. Sette Bello’s seating capacity is 250 indoors with a large outdoor patio that has 200 additional seats. Covers average 400 per day and approach 500 on peak days.
