Analytic Services Inc. is an independent, not-for-profit corporation engaged in scientific and technical activities for various government organizations. We are headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, just minutes from the Pentagon and downtown Washington, DC. We manage two operating units; ANSER, and the Homeland Security Institute (HSI).

At ANSER, we take on the nation's most critical challenges and provide innovative, practical solutions to our clients. We have additional offices in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Hampton, Virginia.

HSI is a Studies and Analysis (S&A) Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC) established pursuant to Section 312 of the Homeland Security Act of 2002. HSI delivers independent and objective analyses and advises in core areas important to its sponsor in support of policy development, decision-making, analysis of alternative approaches, and evaluation of new ideas on issues of significance.
