We are currently seeking an Account Manager to support the Mid-Atlantic region for our Materials Analysis group to join our team! The ideal candidate will reside in the NC/VA region of the United States.
Responsibilities:
- Conveying the value of Rigaku instruments and technology effectively.
- Assessing prospective customers' needs to determine their instrumentation requirements.
- Regularly engaging with existing and potential customers both in-person and virtually.
- Organizing and hosting visits for potential customers to Rigaku offices, where product demonstrations will be conducted by dedicated applications scientists.
- Assisting and advising customers throughout the grant application, evaluation, and procurement processes.
- Preparing responses to bids and tenders.
- Negotiating final contract terms, including price, warranty, delivery, and conditions.
- Achieving sales targets and expanding sales through prospecting for new customers, capturing competitors' customers, and retaining Rigaku customers.
- Demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as the Salesforce.com CRM database.
- Demonstrating self-motivation and a strong desire to succeed.
- Possessing an outgoing personality, a positive attitude, and a robust work ethic.
- Any other task as assigned.
