Dewberry is currently searching for Quality Assurance Review Analysts who reside in the Winchester, VA area, who are flexible and interested in working days, nights or weekends supporting disaster survivors impacted by natural disasters across the United States.   What an excellent opportunity to earn extra income while helping others.   Successful candidates must be proficient with the computer and able to work onsite in a professional office environment located in Winchester.

Responsibilities

  • Identification and reporting of quality data internally and externally
  • Primary responsibility for oversight of Review Queue production; heavy involvement in Review Queue production
  • Proactive interaction with field staff, QC processes, NPSC, No Contact, Customer Service and Production departments
  • Assists in reconciliation and special project research as needed
  • Ensures adherence across the project to FEMA and Dewberry Codes of Conduct
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing to develop and write work procedures, policies, reports, instructions, briefings and other documents
  • Ability to work among a diverse staff in effectively meeting program goals and unexpected workload changes related to disaster assistance activities
  • Maintain a familiarity with the FEMA software, implement new program updates and advise appropriate staff of any program changes
  • Assigning and reviewing work with subordinates, training and working effectively with subordinates from a variety of backgrounds and with different levels/areas of training
  • Assign and review the work of subordinates to ensure they are producing the quality and quantity of work expected within set limits of cost and time
  • Field questions and provide guidance for internal and external customers
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills & Required Experience

  • High School diploma required; Associates degree or equivalent preferred from an accredited university
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in related field is preferred
  • Must be able to travel and work onsite in a business office located in Winchester, VA  
  • Prior experience with NEMIS is preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams) and database software required
  • Ideal candidates need to be flexible due to varying schedules/shift and able to work overtime 
  • Successful candidates will possess a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and desire to help others
  • Strong interpersonal skills surrounding customer relations and supporting others are required
  • Must have a clean driving record and able to maintain a valid driver's license
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to successfully pass a Federal background investigation, to include credit and criminal history
